Where to begin…I got married last July and in February (just a few months before the big day) I decided I needed to get myself into the best shape of my life. I started with my diet – just staying away from refined sugars and eating lots of protein. I noticed descent weight loss, but then it became time to tone what I had left on my body. After all, a lean toned body is far healthier and far more attractive than one with no muscle mass. Here’s where my adventure with Emma began. I worked out with Emma usually 1 time a week and for only 1 hour at a time. It is incredibly amazing what just that hour can do! I always gave it my all because I told myself I was only going to do this once a week, so I better make it worth every second! My first couple of sessions I thought I might cry and or puke, but I made it through feeling nothing but satisfaction. When I started with Emma, I couldn’t even do 5 push-ups without thinking I was going to die, hahaha. In just a few short weeks, I was knocking out dozens before I felt like I couldn’t go on. After just a few short months working with Emma, I had lost 20 lbs. and many inches. I had tons of muscle definition and could do so much more than I could at the beginning. I really felt like a new woman! The stamina, the endurance and the pride is nothing short of remarkable. Working with Emma was completely awesome EVERYTIME. She surprised me with super fun and interesting workouts and most importantly, she always switched the workouts up so I was never bored. Emma is incredibly encouraging and really listens to what you are striving to achieve and she gets you there – FAST! I encourage anybody who is looking to begin or continue a healthy lifestyle to workout with Emma at Push Fitness. She is amazing!!!

Hi Emma,
I just wanted to share that I took part in your 30 day challenge and after the 30 days, I lost 7 lbs (even with the ridiculous holiday eating!) and have gotten back into a daily fitness routine! I had a baby last January and have been struggling to get back to my pre- baby body ever since–now I’m within a few inches and a few lbs of getting back into my skinny jeans and I feel like myself again!

There are no words to actually describe how AMAZING Emma is. I started going to Emma mid-July in hopes to lose a few pounds and get more toned before I went back to school. I decided to go to Emma because I had plateaued with my weight lost and I really need a push to get back on track with some new workouts routines. I also needed help to make improvements to my diet. Emma’s workouts (as much as I complained during them) were great and once you got through them you felt great about yourself. Even when you don’t want to keep going in your workout, Emma is that driving force that keeps you going. The meal plans Emma provides you with are very simple and easy to follow. During my 5.5 weeks I lost 8lbs and a little over 10.5 inches off my body and had to get all new clothes because nothing fit by the end. I also did not think I would ever be able to do a clap push up and yet to my surprise by the end of my last session I was able to do 2. Emma is great because she cares about how you do and how well you are progressing. She helped me set attainable fitness goals while I am away at school as well as provided great workout plans to do to keep up my fitness and nutrition. Emma is the definitions of the cat’s pajamas. Oh and another awesome factor about Emma is she has two amazing, beautiful dogs, Buns and Thomas that make the runs you go on that much more enjoyable!

Emma is the greatest trainer I have ever worked with. As a university basketball player I have had many trainers who helped me in my athletic pursuits. Emma was the first one to sit down with me and address what I needed to improve upon and set out an action plan to do just that. Every session was pre-planned to the max and by the end of my time with her my weaknesses became my strengths. Any serious athlete looking to get to the next level would highly benefit from using her services and innovative approach. Additionally, Emma became more than just a trainer. Her personality and attitude make her a joy to train with and be around which makes the process all that more enjoyable.

Emma is an amazing personal trainer. She makes everywork out different and unique to my fitness level and personal goals. She always pushes me hard and I am always amazed at the things that she gets me to do, things I would have never thought I could do. Like the time I did push up rows with 10lbs for a full minute! Emma is always encouraging me to set new goals like running a 5km, thats something I never thought I would be able to do. The workouts are always fun, challenging and good for a laugh. Emma is not only willing to share fitness tips she is always trying new healthy recipes and often shares those as well. The results speak volumes, I have lost 12lbs and 12.5 inches. Emma’s positive outlook on life in infectous and she is a true inspitation.
- Ali BrownMy journey began with Emma shortly after I hit my “rock bottom”. Nothing fit any more, it took me hours to get ready, even then I was still feeling dissatisfied. After Emma reached out to me and told me about her idea of becoming a personal trainer, I agreed that yes this was her calling! At first it was pretty intimidating having someone who is such a high level athlete wanting to train me. I was weary of the challenges, worried I would look like an idiot not having done any REAL physical activity for a very long time! Having someone with such incredible knowledge made me comfortable almost instantly!!! Not all trainers seem to have this ability – it is a gift! It seems anyone can take a quick course and become personal trainers these days, but I can tell you not every personal trainer has had the chance to learn from and train with the some of the world’s best athletes like Emma has. She has made the last 6 months some of the most difficult and yet best of my life! I am so thankful and the results speak for themselves – I have lost 23 lbs and 20 inches. Emma you’re a true beauty!!!
- Kortney HilderbrandtBeing a lifelong athlete I had never had weight issues before. After some health problems that caused me to gain 30 lbs, I had to do something about it. No matter what diet I tried or how many hours I spent on the treadmill, I just couldn’t seem to shake those extra pounds. After multiple failed attempts Emma saved my life. She introduced me to the beauty of the circuit. Every time I came to see her, it would be a fun challenge. She had new moves for me each session, gradually getting more difficult as I got healthier. In 4 months I have yet to do the same work out twice! Eventually doing things that I didn’t even know I was capable of. Since I’ve started, I’ve lost 24 lbs and 23 inches and gained a huge amount of knowledge that she readily shares. She gives me weekly challenges – small lifestyle changes (super attainable!) so I never get discouraged. She is so supportive and she even sings to me (to distract me from those 45 more seconds of mountain climbers). I am a lifer at Push Fitness and can’t thank her enough!

When Emma suggested that she was going to start personal training I jumped on it. She opened my eyes (in a positive way) to the fact that with actual hard work, real healthy eating and dedication that being healthy and losing weight is very possible. She makes every workout fun and positive. I have never stuck to working out as long as I have with her. I don’t even dread waking up and going to her place! I have lost a difficult 11 lbs and 8 inches and will continue to loose more under her incredible guidance.
