I tried to make it a video exercise of the day but my video was messed up! So this will just have to do!
The exercise of the day is one for the ol’ buttski’s. It is a reverse lunge with a kick. It is fabulous for the butt. To begin tighten the abs for support, then step back with your right foot and lower yourself into a reverse lunge. Make sure to squeeze your butt as you push down through your left heel, then kick your right leg in front of you while straightening your left leg (leg your standing on). That’s one rep, try for 12 to 15 continuous reps (remember to PUSH through the burn!) for up to 3 sets on each leg. You can use dumbbells or another type of weight or just body weight to get use to the movement. This is one of the go to exercise that I have been using for the CULC with 40lb dumbbells. Start off where ever your comfortable and work your way up!
